Santa Lucia is a beautiful volcanic island with lush rain forests, rolling farmland and deserted beaches. It is also one of the places in the world where trade winds blow from the sea on the southern shore.
Before the visitor influx, banana exports sustained St-Lucia, particularly after 1964, when it decided its sugar cane production. Realizing the potential of the island as a tourist destination, the government currently puts its efforts on further diversification, principally directed towards the creation of a services sector on tourism and financial services.
We can start by saying that St Lucia Holidays is one of the best in the Caribbean, because their icons, the Pitons are characterized by being one of the most romantic destinations in the region. As such, these are a pair of volcanic extremities are located outside the Caribbean Sea, which surprised foreign visitors when they arrive on vacation. It’s worth noting that the eye that surrounds the Pitons is exceptional, and as recommended, bring a camera to capture the panorama of nature.
Note that the vast majority of the resorts of this Caribbean island is located north of Castries, more precisely, along the west coast, since there are several white sand beaches. Remember that if the white sandy beaches are north of Santa Lucia in the south are located most of the natural attractions of the island. Ideally, in this case is to take a drive down the west coast and visit the town of Soufriere and the base of Petit Piton. This last point of interest is characterized as the smallest and most pronounced of the twin pinnacles, which is why one of the most scenic attractions of the entire Caribbean area. Now to finish this part, we can say that the picture of St. Lucia remains below sea level, because the underwater landscape is really cool. If one is lucky enough to dive into the water, will be able to go a fantasy world, where colorful fish and some of the more crystalline coral reefs attract our attention immediately.
